Actor Hritik Roshan is soon to leave for Singapore for treatment of his knee injury, which he developed while doing some daring stunts for his movies Krissh and Dhoom 2. Hritik, whose next movie Jodha Akbar is all set to release in January 2008 had torn the ligament in his knee, but has continued working despite tremendous pain. But now the actor find the need to recuperate from it. "While working towards fulfilling my commitments to all my work - ads and film, I did not care much about my knee pain and have neglected my doctor's advice to not put any stress on it and take complete rest," said Hrithik in a press release. However, as soon as he is finished with the treatment, he will be back during the premiere of his new release.
Jodha Akbar will be Hritik's first release after Dhoom 2, which brought the actor his third Filmfare award. Interestingly, Jodha Akbar casts Aishwarya Rai opposite Hritik who was his heroine in Dhoom 2. So the audience can expect the magic of duo which they created in their last movie. However, the movie is a big challenge for director Aushotosh Gowariker whose last movie Swadesh, though brought critical acclaim but failed badly at box office.
